hello.
today is the last day of the summer break and im gonna go back to school for my autumn sem. woa. i cant believe this 2 months of break had passed by so quickly. well. i think i pretty much made good use of this summer break and im glad it was a good 2 mths break ^^

well first i went back to sg after 1.5 years and it was really good to be back with my family and my close friends. eating the food which i really missed as well as going back to acjc. it was a really short 2 breaks back home and then i just went back to seoul.

i guess im really lucky to get to stay in kudt. how should i put this. i actually only thought of this around 2 days ago. back in sg where i was actually contemplating to actually stay or leave kudt many thoughts came to me. such as what if i leave, i can actually go back to def dance and dance there. but then again i realise going to def is definitely a good thing. but its the feeling about being as a team u know. like the friendships bond and the fun and struggle u have esp when u have rehearsals and overnight practices. thats the thing which i missed the most. i guess god realised what i needed the most and graciously allowed me to stay in kudt.

and thats when i think i began to treat dancing more seriously. we practice 3 hours for 3 times a week and through the stress to become better and stuff we go for extra hard training and self prac. it was tiring but the taste of slowly becoming better was really awesome. i could not free style. but i guessed through the numerous amount of dance battle and prac the seniors made us do i kinda admit i got a little battle. haha. im still not a good dancer. just a person who loves dancing trying to make it big into her life.

so yea basically i was just hanging out a lot in the student union building either doing penalty early as 8am in the morning and then later on going back at 2pm for regular prac. haha. dancing eating and sleeping. it was awesome. and i think one of the highlights was the summer mt which we went to the beach and for the first time i had so much fun. i think spending a lot of time with the koreans also kinda made my korean improved and i just felt more accepted and loved by those little 94/95s. haha XD im used to them calling me unnie and noona and theres just this feeling which u wanna take care of them when they call u that? XD haha idk.

and then there was the kkm dance battle which im proud to make it all the way to semi finals. haha. and thanks to that i think i kinda understood more how battle works. like u have to be prepared for different kind of music styles and always be prepared to get either a song that is not yr genre or a beat that may be too fast or too slow than the usual songs that u practise with. and through that i got to know daehwi sunbaenim and got closer to bomi as well. haha.

now we are just preparing for the ku dance battle with yonsei which is most likely happening on the 11st of oct? XD haha idk. yup as i was saying. i think god allowed me to remain in kudt because i need to know how to be humble. and money isnt everything. the thing i learnt from ppl in kudt with no background is that. they get the joy from dancing. i think i have been dancing for around... 8 years?? and that was the thing that got me started. like i felt free. i didnt care about how i look when i danced. but i think as u get more experienced in a sense u start to lose the very first motivation which pushes u all along. and remembering what hosung ssaem told me last time was that u should feel happy when u dance instead of being competitive towards others. like whats the use for it? u just get more stress from it. amen to that! so yup. i regain my motivation again. and it just pushes me to go harder. seeing ppl struggle with certain moves pushes me too. but i felt happy to be with these kudt dorks. lol. i swear sometimes they talk nonsense in the katalk grp chat.

so yea. its the new term tmr. and storytellers are all back in place ^^ cant wait to meet them for lunch tmr~~~!!

기다리고있어

hello.

this past few days i have been just dancing and hanging around with myself in the dorm. glad that i met up with rose today at myeongdong~! ^^ she went for her audition to become an instructor at def and then we just kinda hanged around for lunch/dinner and then walked around before ended up sitting and chatting in hollys. lol. fangirling over daegil ssaem and hosung ssaem. XD hopefully things will turn out great for her and the next time i meet up with her she will be a trainee teacher at def! XD

after that was kinda bored so i went back to the student union building to just kinda practise the stuff i have learnt so far. i felt so stupid suddenly because i knew the passcode to open the door but i forgot how to open it. like u need to press the asterisk and stuff. figured out on my 2nd try so it wasnt that bad LOL and then idk why ppl prefer to practise at night and after like 30mins i entered the kudt room like the 15th president suddenly came in and then i got a shock lol. i think she looks like iu. so pretty. and then after that the 16th waacking head came in with another popping senior. the awkward thing was i didnt know what to do when the popping senior decided to just practise with me in the room and i was the one using the amplifier. so i was like just heck it. do what u want. ignore people's presence.

around 9pm i was like ok. time to go back. then i was like 선배님! 저 갈거예요. 엠프 쓰셔도 돼요. and he was like 나도 갈걸. and then i was lol ok. and we were just drying ourselves from the disgusting sweat when he saw my vans and commented on it. LOL. i think koreans have a thing about shoes. wasnt my first time getting comments about it. 2nd time this week. LOL /mybaby~ XD and then that 13th popping senior left and suddenly another 16th bboy senior came in. maybe i shouldnt drop by at night next time. its just... scary to meet seniors in a sense. LOL. idk.

gonna go for my summer mt this coming sun~! hopefully it will be fun and more enjoyable than the previous one. lol. yup. and i need my sunscreen asap. LOL.

방학이다~!

hello.

idk why for some reason even though yesterday was the start of my summer break.. i feel like 3 weeks is not enough. LOL. and im gonna make my 3 weeks useful so i have decided to do write it down. and i realised im not actually that free. HAHA.

im just gonna be doing the stuff i like again. spending the last few days with friends who will be leaving korea for good, practicing at def, preparing for uni applications as well as studying for topik and catching up with friends.

and this morning when i just woke up not long later, peiling told me a very very very good news. i feel so happy for her and i hope that everything will be very smooth and awesome~! may god bless her~! ^^ and i feel really blessed that i have my family with me keeping in contact everyday even though im so far away. and it so happened yesterday that i was chatting with regina through kkt. miss her and the idiot peeps~

for some reason i like how stupid i look in this photo

hello.

back from my trip since 2 days ago but didnt feel like blogging just yet and now i feel like it. haha. anw i think it was a pretty worthwhile trip ^^

DAY 1 - [BUSAN- HAEUNDAE BEACH/ BUSAN AQUARIUM/ TEMPLE]

so we took the 8am ktx to busan and actually we were on the verge of missing the train but so lucky we literally ran into the train with like only a minute left of the train leaving. zomg. never gonna do such stuff again. but anw we went over to our guesthouse called Mr Egg Hostel by the sides of haeundae and i think its a rather cute and nice place to stay.

u can like draw on their wall and there were so many ppl from hk and taiwan who had stayed over in the hostel over there. haha. i added my own singapore collection and infinite thingy. LOL. and i also made the clay which they had provided. it was a rather comfortable stay except for the fact that a mosquito attacked me like mad during day 1 and i couldnt sleep properly zzz. and they provide eggs for u to cook/fry/steam them however u want to. haha. nice.

as for the busan aquarium, it wasnt as nice as what i had expected. i think the coex one in seoul is much better and i think the ticket wasnt that expensive if i remembered correctly. anw i forgot to add that i ate busan's milmyeon which is like their local specialty food. its similar to naengmyeon just that the type of noodles which they used are different.

its nice to eat it during a hot day with the cooling soup~ ^^

and the temple which i had visited was really beautiful. they still had lanterns hanging all over it and i think it was really pretty. we climbed loads of stairs and finally reached the top of the temple where we could see the entire sea and stuff. it was rather windy and for some reason when u reached the top, u will have this sense of accomplishment ^^ yup. and we had cheese don katseu for dinner~ ok i cant find the picture.

DAY 2- GAMCHEON CULTURE VILLAGE

i like this place so much. its like the reason why most of us came to busan for and its such a beautiful place with the colourful houses and interesting art houses. and also running man filmed here too XD

its like at the start of the place, u can purchase this map where u need to get stamps from the places u are supposed to go and visit and after which u can collect free postcards. so yea. i got 2 postcards and i bought a set of 10 in the end because they are PRETTY. lol. anw is my english still understandable? peiling told me she didnt understand my eng on my blog. and weiliang told me he didnt understand my tweet D: gg. BUT ANW U GET MY POINT.

after which we went to the place where u can see the lighthouse. its an amazing place ^^ i like it how i can see the sea with no boundaries. its just plain awesomeness. it made me feel like as if im at the end of the world and im really wondering whats behind it. XD i know. its just me.

i think i have a thing with sea. its like when ppl ask u if u prefer mountain or sea.. i would definitely choose sea. haha. XD i have no idea why as well.

DAY 3- Hakdong Mug Guesthouse.

erm. if not for the guesthouse and the windmill i dont think i would want to go to 거제도. why? because the bus ride from the bus terminal is abt the same from busan to hakdong and its freaking isolated and inacessible. unless u have a car of course. the bus intervals were around 40mins and we had to time our timing really accurately if not we had to wait for a long time before the next one arrives.

i think the guesthouse is super awesome. huge bed. huge space. huge bathroom. i love the bathroom so much. T^T the shower head. i think im gonna install one of those when i have my own house or sth. LOL. its those squarish kind and u know when the water falls over u its the soft kind. not the huge splashy kind. XD yea. and ughh. perfect living space. and the owner makes really good drinks. as u guys know i dont drink coffee i ordered english breakfast tea which is also known as red tea. ITS FREAKING AWESOME. and the next morning i had my ice choco. the choco is SO choco. (Y) i have drink tons of ice choco because i dont drink coffee in seoul and some just tastes like choc milk but her ice choco is really choco. heaven~ lalala. and here is the windmill which took us so hard to get to.

and after which we went back to busan to haeundae at this very very nice beach which i personally like it a lot. and i think as the days progressed i'd started playing around with my camera. like changing the setting and programming it. and here are some of the pictures which i thought looked pretty 'abstract' LOL /bricks/

and at night we watched this musical water fountain performance. it was rather interesting and i got a shock when the water started shooting up. LOL.

DAY 5- Movie theme park and kemyeong university

we travelled from haeundae to south jeolla-do. OMG. i felt like i was the youngest person then. everyone on the bus were elderly and the bus system is so different. u pay after u get down. anw we got down and the weather was so so so HOT. omg. sweating so much. and then we went to the movie park where many movies were filmed. it was rather interesting. /im feeling kind of sleepy typing..... and yea. photos are on facebook. LOL. do take a look. i think its quite a nice place to visit. IF U HAVE A CAR.

after which we went to the university where boys over flowers was filmed. its a pretty school. the architecture and the exterior designs are pretty much british schools inspired but its cool to see how it was different from snu's. compared to edae's i think its a different kind of concept. haha. and we so happened to see this dude test driving his own built mini racing car. he was like zooming around the campus. he zoomed past us twice. LOL. and yea. im tired.

anw during one of the bus ride in busan there was this ahjussi who was speaking to me. its awesome to know that there are ppl like him who loves his hometown so much. he boasts abt it and kept praising it. haha. and its like throughout the entire bus ride i was speaking korean to me and i think for that 10-20 mins or so my korean had improved. i know its so short but i think to be able to hold a conversation for that long was pretty capable as of me. I KNOW IM BEING EGO. lol. but hey busan ppl has that accent sometimes which are really hard to understand ok~ XD haha. ok. and because of this kind of random conversations i think yr brain has to like turn very fast.

and the heartwarming thing abt the conversation with the ahjussi was that i think he knew that i was gonna alight from at the subway stop and before that he asked me how old i was. i told him i was 20 and after that he told he had 2 daughters. one of them is 23 one of them is 21 and then he pointed to me and told me '네가 제 셋 딸'- 'you are my 3rd daughter' waaaaa i was like omg. i only spoke to him for like a short while and he told me that. T^T thank you~ aigooo. and not just this incident which made me like busan ppl. lol. like during around day 2 tour in busan there was this uncle who gave vivi free candyfloss and told us abt the directions to the places which we wanted to go and stuff. and the ahjussis on the bus would realise that we were a bunch of foreigners and asked where we were heading to. and before the bus reached the bus stop they would remind us to get down. thank you so much busan~ T^T

1 more week before sch reopens. OMG.

Dancing is what i like to do. and i want to continue doing it. To some people dancing is a sport, a way to express themselves but to others, it is LIFE.

I love Crescent and im and old girl of ACJC. I love AC Dance Society and my class. I love my og kids and i definitely love my own OGLS. MIZU AND ZURG!

I'm now living in Seoul, a student of Korea Uni Media Dept. I am also on here to fulfill the promise I have for myself. 17th Hip Hop of KUDT. KOREA UNIV DANCE TEAM.
