뿌리 깊은 나무

so as u can tell from the picture of the blog post im going to talk abt this drama which i finished like about 2 hours ago. its translated into deep rooted tree and you can watch the whole drama on youtube. haha. 

its basically talking about king sejong and the making of the hangul characters and stuff and there is also romance btw the main character jang hyuk and shin sekyung. dam. i feel like the actor who acted as the king was so good. haha. i feel so deeply attached to this drama and idk for what reason. maybe its because i know korean and learning korean when i was 19 made a huge difference to this drama. 

the drama depicts how king sejong managed to come out with the hangul characters and how much hard work it actually took him to complete it. and after i watched that episode which showed the process i was like truly amazed by how hangul actually works. u know how sometimes compared to english and chinese u just got to memorise and remember how the word sounds right? and as for hangul its different. u kind of mix and match the consonant and vowels and then u can actually pronounce it. yup. so can u imagine someone, king sejong, and most probably with the help of other people, actually compiled and thought of so much words and sounds that start with a certain sound and finally came out with for example ㄱ and then u can form so many words beginning with ㄱ hahahhaha im just amazed by the system suddenly. XD

recommend this drama. good good. even though it was broadcasted in 2011 i only watched it now. lol. slow but still.. better be late than never XD hehe~ 

2 more days before school reopen.  
21 more days to 고연전 shit. lol. 3 more weeks. omg.
